Corvette Shootout Thrills at Racemotive’s 2025 “Race to Victory Circle” – Pocono Raceway Recap

I have been a patron to this event every year for three years now and I made it to a point to attend it to see this roll race action and who dominates the track. Racemotive, for who doesn’t know yet what it is, is a roll race that’s being held in 3 northeast venues in the states namely the famous NASCAR track “Tricky Triangle” in Pocono Raceway in Pennsylvania, MIR in Maryland and the Maple Grove Raceway also in Pennsylvania. Depending on the venue, the event will range from the car and motorcycle 1/3 mile roll racing and ¼ mile drag racing of your current favorite racing machine and also its subdivided to different brackets or divisions. This year, Racemotive’s rollrace event in the Poconos is dubbed “Race To Victory Circle” which entailed the usual 1/3 mile roll race, multiple MPH-based classes and there’s a leaderboard per class. Also participating race car drivers can enjoy unlimited passes to their hearts content. And if this wasn’t enough to enjoy the day, they added the Corvette Shootout wherein they will clock in the the top 8 fastest corvettes for the day. The event unfolded quite favorable for me at that time because I usually come in just to be in time for the driver’s meeting but for because of prior commitments I was unusually late as part of the media team. Luckily for me and to the dismay of the whole driving and spectating crowd, the race was delayed. Well the raceway is nestled in the Pocono mountains and foggy days like this is not unusual but it did obscure the whole tracks visibility. The fog stayed and finally dissipated close to noon time but instead of beating the dead horse everyone used their time chatting with fellow drivers, media, and with spectators, checking out their builds and taking photos and videos just like what a car culture event like should be. When the fog finally cleared up, insane exhaust notes began to wake up our senses and that’s when we knew that the race was on! For me, I have already taken close up pictures of the cars theirs drivers and car enthusiasts, so I positioned myself on the top of the grandstand like a sniper to shoot some sweet panning roll race action. And the race was history, drivers and crew, media and car enthusiasts alike did enjoy the event that the day just by looking at their faces, consistent smile of satisfaction. There’s some mishaps here and there nothing serious, cars can be fixed and replaced, people are precious and everyone in the raceway were safe. Want to see who coveted the top spots?
