Chevrolet Corvette C5

The Chevrolet Corvette C5 delivered a masterclass in raw, American muscle performance at the RaceMotive Season Closer in October 2026. Stepping up to the high-stakes roll-racing grid, the legendary LS-powered platform proved that classic fiberglass and V8 grunt still command absolute respect on the runway.

The moment both cars crossed the starting line and mashed the throttle, the C5’s true violence was unleashed. Its heavily modified aluminum block V8 roared to life, transferring massive torque to the rear tires and pinning the driver back into the seat. With its iconic pop-up headlights down for maximum aerodynamics, the sleek coupe cut through the air, pulling hard through the gears and gapping high-dollar exotics down the straightaway. Screaming past the finish line with a deafening American exhaust note, the C5 closed out the 2026 racing season by reminding everyone exactly why it remains a giant-killer in the roll-racing world.
