A vintage highlight of the 2025 Pagoda Hillclimb, the 1959 Triumph TR3 brought classic British sports car charm to the twists and climbs of Duryea Drive. With its open-top layout, signature low-cut doors, and timeless grille, the TR3 turned heads before it even left the paddock.

Powered by a 2.0-liter inline-four engine producing around 100 horsepower, the lightweight TR3 tackled the 1.35-mile uphill course with spirited enthusiasm. Its rack-and-pinion steering, front disc brakes, and nimble chassis allowed the driver to confidently thread the needle through Pagoda’s nine technical corners.

Though it didn’t set records, the TR3's climb was a crowd favorite—its vintage engine note echoing off the hillsides and reminding everyone that skill and style never go out of date. The Triumph’s run was a fitting tribute to the golden era of sports car racing, blending nostalgia with true driving passion on one of America’s most historic hillclimbs.
